Work Health & Safety Officer

Your new company
Your new company is part of the Australian Federal Government looking for an experienced Work Health & Safety Officer looking to expand their career and experience.

Your new role
Your new role is a maternity cover contract until the end of August 2025. In your new role you will be responsible for:

• Work collaboratively with all business units to ensure continuous improvement in the management of WHS risks


• Develop and implement a WHS training plan


• Conducting audits of the WHS system


• Coordinating emergency & critical incident management training
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally:

• Hold a certificate IV in OHS/WHS Management or higher relevant qualification


• Current driving licence


• Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment


• Have experience in a similar WHS Coordinator or Officer role
