Safety Advisor | Sunshine Coast
Your new company
This fast-growing Australian organisation manufactures a range of products to explore the outdoors. Based in Coolum, they are seeking a Safety Advisor to join their team initially for a few months but with scope to stay on a permanent basis for the right person.
Your new role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Daily safety toolboxes, audits, and team briefings
- Utilisation of their Safety Management System
- Build hazard risk register
- Establish Safety Committee meetings
- Rework incident reporting process
- Establish incident investigation process
- Coordinate injury and incident management
You will work with management and leadership to drive a safety culture.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced safety professional who will be able to hit the ground running. You will hold a minimum Cert IV OH&S and will have experience working in heavy industry, manufacturing or mining.
You will be available to start a new role on short notice and will enjoy being in a role where you will be working closely with the operational business and assessing and improving the systems and processes in place.

What you'll get in return
You will receive an hourly rate in line with the market, and will be based from a beautiful Sunshine Coast location, working Monday to Friday. Working with an engaged management team in a growing business, this is an initial temp role, but there may be scope for it to go perm down the track for the right person.
