Your new role

Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of workplace health and safety for their site in Brisbanes' upper Southside. Your role will include:

• Developing and implementing safety plans


• Provision of WHS advice to managers


• Conducting WHS training and toolbox talks


• Driving safety systems and managing safety records


• Conducting WHS audits, safety inductions and conduct risk assessments as required


• Assist with WorkCover and Rehab programs

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced safety professional ideally with experience gained from a manufacturing, or production background or similar. You will hold a minimum Cert IV in WHS and have experience working with safety management systems. You will be comfortable working across the manufacturing site and being a visible presence to the team, building relationships through influence and open communications.

You will be based in Brisbane's southside near Mount Gravatt. You will receive a salary of circa 110 - 115k + super, and will be working in a friendly and professional environment.
