HSE Manager is required to support the Sydney operations of a global manufacturing company.

Your new role
- Develop and drive the company's HSE strategy with site senior leadership, focusing on innovation, best practices, and sustainability.
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and guidance to the site team.
- Set and monitor goals and targets aligned with the business unit and group.
- Act as the main HSE contact internally and externally, offering technical support.
- Support the development and updating of HSE policies and procedures.
- Participate in at least two assessments per year at other sites.
- Support accident/incident investigations for continuous improvement.
- Analyse accident/incident statistics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Prepare and implement KPIs to drive HSE performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- NEBOSH international certificate or equivalent local HSE certification.
- Minimum of 5 years in an HSE-related position with thorough knowledge of HSE regulations.
- A strong track record in HSE with operational experience in a similar industry.
- Successful management experience, delivering results, and improving performance.
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment with regular reporting and analysis.
- Experience managing core processes and bringing innovative approaches.
- Experience in a global manufacturing/technology business, balancing strategic and operational work.
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, environmental, fire, industrial hygiene processes, ergonomics, incident reporting, investigation procedures, and auditing.
- Understanding of relevant ISO accreditation frameworks is desirable.
- Experience with auditing management systems (e.g., ISO 19011) is an advantage.
