Workers Compensation Case Manager

Your new company
Your new company is well-known in the energy space looking for a Worker's Compensation case manager to join their team on an initial assignment of 6 months with the potential to extend. This role is a maternity leave cover. This company is a self insurer, so it would be an excellent experience for someone looking to broaden their skills in workers' compensation.

Your new role
In your new role, you would be responsible for:

• Performing end to end case management of claims


• Undertake claims investigations and recommend solutions for resolution


• Provide advice and guidance to leaders and employees regarding workers' compensation and health/injury management issues


• Assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, strategies, awareness and education programs to improve the outcomes of workplace injuries


• Maintain industry knowledge to ensure currency of processes and decision‐making


• Review incident/injury and health related data and assist with the development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of performance reporting against organisational targets


• Maintain and protect self-insurer licences

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally:

• Have at least 1 year experience with worker's compensation and injury management


• Significant knowledge of legislation, codes, industry best practice, policies and procedures related to workers' compensation, claims management and injury management


• Relevant education or qualifications
