The Company

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager of HSEQ, you will be responsible for supporting, developing and maintaining a safe work environment through the implementation and evaluation of HSEQ strategies and initiatives.  This position is critical to their clients organisation as it has a focus on solving HSEQ system and risk related issues whilst driving continuous improvement and building a safety focused culture.

Your Experience
You will be HSEQ proficient and able to effectively manage people risk.  You will also have a methodical approach to your work and are able to deliver a tailored HSEQ experience, partnering with both key internal and external stakeholders.  Your consultative nature and ability to build and maintain strong relationships is key to successfully influencing and driving a safety focused culture, whilst your ability to be innovative and think outside the box will be warmly welcomed.
Our client is looking for a standout candidate with the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HSE/OHS/Risk
  • ICAM investigator training
  • Certificate 4 in Workplace Training
  • Lead Auditor qualification (AS4801/ISO14001/ISO9001)
  • Telecommunications and/or Utilities experience is a bonus
