About the Role
The Head of Health and Safety is a key advisor on all safety matters for Vicinity Centres.  The purpose of the role is to assist the business in achieving its objectives by making informed decisions on the health and safety risks associated in the execution of the strategy and operation of business.  The role is responsible for developing and implementing a health and safety strategy whilst developing a simplified Health & Safety Management System to support the business.  The Head of Health and Safety is a subject matter expert to the Board and Executive Committee on health and safety matters.
  
About You
You will be a Senior Health and Safety leader with experience in leading and managing teams, a strategic and continuous improvement focus and commercial acumen.   
  
You will have demonstrated leadership and management skills, high level influencing and negotiation skills, recognised for your integrity and capability to build trust with the Board, Executive Committee and the business.   
  
To be successful in this role, you will have operated in a health and safety functional lead position with demonstrated success in achieving culture and engagement change.   you will have strong influencing and communication skills to engage to all levels of the organisation.  You will be comfortable working in complex business environments, including contractor and tenant management.  A relevant tertiary qualification is essential.
