An exciting opportunity has become available to join this large Federal Government located in Canberra's South

Your new company
You will be working for a Department responsible for developing policies and procedures pertaining to all aspects of National Security. This Department is responsible for promoting the interests of the country and their allies when dealing with issues that arise, and establishing solutions. This key Department prides themselves on looking after their employees and offers a supportive and productive working environment.

Your new role

  • Effectively manage compensable and non-compensable injuries/illnesses of employees while exercising delegations within relevant legislation and policy
  • Establish and maintain early intervention processes to ensure the earliest identification of employees requiring case management
  • Liaising with external and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with the development of the department's policies/guidelines
  • Assess all risks to both employees and the Department
  • Maintain and update the teams Case Management


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Flexible and open attitude
  • Exceptional team player
  • Ability to obtain a minimum of a Baseline Clearance
